Our product is an aflatoxin detection device that can be used in food production and packaging lines.

Product inspection is performed through software that is installed on a computer connected to the device and analyzes images taken by a hyperspectral camera and detects infected products.

If the amount of aflatoxin exceeds the allowable limit specified in the software (which varies according to the product type), the necessary warning will be given to the operator in this regard.

We propose an optical device based on a hyperspectral camera to measure the aflatoxin contamination level in products. This device will be able to detect the allowable amount of aflatoxin toxin in peanuts and corn instantly without damaging the product. The unique property of aflatoxin toxin is fluorescence property under UV light. Due to this feature, the system is designed based on UV radiation to the sample and Images would be captured by a hyperspectral camera. classification accuracy will be greater than 90% when using hyperspectral, mathematical, and machine learning techniques.

The hyperspectral camera detects the spectral characteristics of the sample with very high accuracy and assigns a spectral range between 400-850 nm to each pixel of the image. It can measure the toxin without contacting the sample. In addition, by detecting contaminated samples, healthy samples can be distinct in the production and packaging. The software of this product is based on Windows and determines the speed and type of analysis according to the type of material under measurement. Its unique features include identifying infected samples online and displaying the maximum and minimum aflatoxins in the entire sample.
